Charles 22, Harriet 21, (aka) Les & Rita newlyweds arrived by ship . Charles completed five year apprenticeship with shipbuilding firm Barclay Curle & Co. Ltd. On River Clyde. Shipbuilding declining in Glasgow, give Australia a go. Harriet's Grandfather, Edward Harris migrated to Australia in 1913. WWI broke out, returned to Glasgow. Killed in action 1915.
