Cared for from age of 2 wks by an elderly (78) lady for 7 years. Eva (her mother) regularly sent money until she suddenly disappeared. Mum then went to Barnardo's & then to Fairbridge Farm WA. Married Arthur Crewe 16/1/1943, separated 1945. Mum had 5 children - I (the eldest) was fostered & 1 child adopted out.
