Then to Brisbane for approx. 2 years. From Brisbane, moved to Melbourne, where he met and married a girl from Kalgoorlie, W.A. Moved to Perth, WA. in 1974 and has lived in Perth since then. Has one daughter. Naturalised as an Australian in Melbourne in 1972.
