Read their story

As part of the Government's Group Settlement Scheme the family worked hard clearing the land and after never having farmed before went on and achieved their dream of establishing a thriving dairy farm. They raised their 10 Children in Ambergate, Bussleton and life was good until the start of the Depression. A book called “Life, after all, is what you make it” by Norma Weston was written in 2001 and describes the life of the Keep family over those years.
