Friedrich and Veronika born Roumania. Arrived Fremantle with three children. Transported to Northam Camp. Moved to Koojedda. Worked at Gumley Timber Mill. Moved to Kwinana Beach 1954 and worked as Foreman at BP Refinery. Resided Medina Calista from 1955. 1963 family opened Continental Cafe in Medina, renowned for homemade pies and cakes. Fred was patron of Kwinana Soccer Club.

  • Friedrich and Veronika also opened a Deli in the Medina Shops , which had the Best tasting Pie,s and Rissoles ever made . This Deli was Known as Kattler,s Deli .
