This family came to WA to join family who had arrived 4yrs earlier on the 'Egyptian'. The family settled in Guildford. They were school teacher, trader, post master, paster, store keeper, carpenter, inn keeper, farmers and horse breeders.

  • the information above is incorrect. Walter was born in 1777 in Wales and died in 1868. He arrived at the Swan Settlement on the 'Egyptian' on February 14,1830 with several sons. Tabitha was arrived in 1834 on the 'James Pattinson' with their remaining children.
