Dad served with the British Army in WWI in France for 6 years & with the Australian Army for 5 years in WWII. Came to Australia in 1922, married Clara Buttel & had 2 daughters, Wendy & Betty. Loved Australia with a passion. Died peacefully in 1985 at 92.
