Robert & Elizabeth Johnston came from Scotland with their children James (11), Robert (8) & Jeannie (4). They settled in Jarnadup (Jardee) & had twins George & Betty & son David. Robert snr was a foreman at the timber mill. Doreen Owen's book 'Jardee' gives details of the family.
