First worked as Laundry Maid and other duties. Married William Maxwell 1913. He sailed with the 1st Contingent from Blackboy Hill to Ambulance Coy Gallipoli 1914. Ret July 1919. They had 6 children. Margaret lived first at Immigration Home, Perth WA. A drover's wife int he 1920's, worked hard for her family all her life, especially during the depression.
