Jim Jefferies married Mina Luckwell from Wantage 08.02.1928. Mina arrived on the Otranto 1 year after Jim 07.02.1928. They farmed in Moora until 1930, then lived in Cottesloe 1934-1944. Jim, who was a Conway graduate, joined the Stateships. He was awarded in Fremantle 1937 a Master Mariners Certificate No. 0241. For family reasons he chose a shore occupation as a dredge master and tug master. Retired to a property in Lesmurdie. He leaves behind three children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Happy and loving memoreis
