James was a member of the Worcestershire Constabulary and also served in the British Army during WW1. Later became a farmer. The family migrated under the Group Settlement Scheme and settled at Northcliffe. James was a warder at Fremantle and later a Dealer. Lily was a porcelain artist in England.
