Immigrated as a free settler as a young man, studied at Muresk Agric. College and worked with CSIRO all his working life. Married in Sydney 1958 to Judit Dracutzky, a migrant from Hungary, had 5 sons & adopted a daughter from Kashmir, India. He died with cancer in 1993.
