Samuel and Mary Jameson (nee Robson) and their children John (21), Annie (20), William (17), Cora (10) and Gertrude (9) arrived in 1904 from Penrith, Cumberland, UK, where her was a tailor and they were Inn Keepers.
William moved to the Eastern States whilst the rest of the family travelled by train to start a cafe in Kookynie 200klms north of Kalgoorlie in the Goldfields.
Subsequently they moved to Coolgardie and then Perth to start a tailoring business.
