Ann arrived on their anniversary. Her husband, Denis, arrived three months earlier and bought a block at “City” Beach. Ann, horrified, expected “Punch and Judy” shows and donkey rides. She was somewhat bemused when he proudly showed her a sand dune on which they were to build their new life.
