Jean & Joe arrived in Australia with their son, Dennis (9) & daughters, Patricia (5) & Shirley (4). A third daughter, Gillian was born in 1953. The family lived in Epsom Ave, Belmont in a migrant hostel, until moving into a new Homeswest house in South Perth two years later, where they lived for 18 years.

I have been researching the Migrant Hostel in Belmont and found your page. Your arrival of 1951 would have been at the same time I was there with my family. I am interested to find out more about the place as I was only 4 at the time but remember it well.
