Doug arrived from England with the Fairbridge Society 1951. He enlisted with Australian Regular Army 28th July 1958, served 20 years & was discharged 28th July 1978. As Sergeant, he served 16 months tour of duty in South Vietnam. He married Jan Nott July 1960 & had 2 sons, Michael - (wife, Jeanette & child Cameron) & Anthony - (wife, Kate & children, Sarah, Mitchell & Erin).
