Married Nicola Iuliano in Castelmauro in 1961 and migrated to join him in Australia in 1962. Settled in Fremantle and raised two children, Antonio (1964) and Patrizia (1966). Sponsored the migration of her mother, Maria Piaccia, in 1967. Worked part-time in various jobs from 1969-1996.
