Sebastiano Iuculano and Arcangela Calanni married in Sicily. Sebastiano arrived 1.3.1927, Arcangela arrived 13.12.1927. On arrival in Australia, they bought property and settled in Bayswater, while raising 7 children, one girl died of meningitis in 1947. Sebastiano hand-made bricks, and with Angela hand-built their home in Bayswater, which still stands. Arcangela learnt to read and write English from newspapers.
