On arrival in Fremantle taken by bus to Northam Army Camp for a few months then we where moved to Railway Camp. All possessions in a trunk. Given supplies of straw mattresses, grey blankets & hurricane lamps. Made the best of the difficulties faced. Settled in Northam to make Australia home.
