Pat was part of my childhood in Wallasey. We used to live next door to the Wensley family and I spent many hours there as her younger sister was my best friend. We were both bridesmaids at her very grand wedding to Paul. She would have been a wonderful nurse and I was always in awe of her which no doubt influenced my decision to train as a nurse in later years.
Wonderful memories

My mother was so sad when my sister Pat left, she thought she would never see her grandchildren again, but in later years paid many happy visits to W.A.
