After active service in RAF in WWII, Wally qualified as a Quantity Surveyor, married Joy and worked in London. Recruited by WA Public Works in 1953 and with daughters, Anita, Diane & Christine arrived in Perth. Worked on many major public buildings and subsequently had a successful career lecturing at TAFE.
