1852 married William Butcher, All Saints Church, Upper Swan. Daughter of John Houghton, professional silver plater. Signed her name Horton. 8 children. Lived Gingin, Cannington and in 1863 moved to Upper Wongong. Retired and buried at the old Anglican Church Cemetery, Kelmscott.
