Alois was a pilot. Erika had been a opera singer. He went to work at Kwinana then Midland workshops. She sang occasionally on ABC but three young daughters meant she didn't pursue her career. Angelika born 1954 & Ina, 1956 became teachers in WA. Gaby born 1950 returned to Germany.
