Tony was sent to Australia as a war orphan. He had no contact with family unitil his father paid a one-off visit in 1970. His father later died in New Zealand in 1980. In 1992 The Salvation Army contacted Tony and introduced him to two brothers, one sister and one step-sister. It was then he learned his mother was dead.
