The Hobart Family migrated to Australia owing to Grandmother's bronchitis. Settled in Fremantle. Moved to Busselton area under Group Settlement Scheme. Later moved to Albany. While employed by a small meats factory, Grandfather mutilated his hand. Life was difficult and very different from owning a grocery store in London.
