Came to live with daughter Edith Dorothy (known as Dorothy) and son-in-law Emil Marian Karas and her grandchildren James Emil and Linda Margaret, after her husband James died in Chester. He had been a Director of Browns of Chester. She saw her first great grandchild Adam Raymond Marr born to Linda and Raymond in 1974 before she died in Hamersley Nursing Home in Subiaco.
