Philip nicknamed Jim, was one of twelve children and with his brother Harry worked on a farm in Pingelly. He and Harry settled on a farm which they jointly owned at North Kellerberrin. He married Ena Jennings, they had two children Phillip and James.

  • What a shame we never had the pleasure of meeting him especially as our family lived in Canning Highway, Como, WA during the 1940’s early 1950’s. The name Higginson is a fairly rare and privileged name in Australia. I suspect it is quite common in England and no doubt quite common in Ireland.
