David was the inaugural Librarian for the Shire of Canning, later becoming Library Consultant for the Alexander Library Building. Margaret qualified as an Accountant and lectured at Curtin University before retiring to Walkaway. Odette qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon, married Richard Williams, and settled at Walkaway with their three children.
