Patrick Heffernan: Born in India, of Irish descent. Served in the Army as Major in the 3/3rd Gurkha Rifles. Married Sheila McGowan and had three daughters: Elaine, June, Pamela. On retirement, the family emigrated to England and subsequently to Australia. His grandchildren are Darren, Glenn, Ryan, Gavin, Gordon, Aaron & Clare.
