Read their story
At age 20 Robert boarded the Orontes (in London). He arrived in Fremantle 18th March, 1930. He worked in gold mining in the Kalgoorlie area. He met & married Joyce Hahn in 1936 & had a son & two daughters. In December 1940 he enlisted in AIF & served in Africa and New Guinea, and was wounded and died 23/9/1943. He is buried in Lai War Cemetery. (WX10205).
