Read their story

The family was originally from Ireland, and later from Staffordshire, England. A sixth child, William (1875-1884), died before the family migrated. John (Snr) and Hannah remained in Perth and descendants are scattered throughout Australia. Hannah is buried in East Perth Pioneers Cemetery, and John (Snr) is buried in Karrakatta Cemetery. Of their 5 children, only the histories of John (jnr.), Minnie Frances and Mary Etherl can be documented.
