Stavroula was widowed in Greece in 1967. With her youngest daughters, Eleni and Paraskavoula, she arrived in Perth to join family members who had emigrated earlier. Stavroula and daughters lived six months in Menora before moving to Mount Hawthorn where she lived for twenty years then two years in Morley.
