Eldest son of Major Patrick Haselden-Wood, of the 11th Hussars (PAO) and Margot Haselden-Wood . Marcus was 18 months old when his parents migrated from England. Marcus married Ilda Separovich in 1994. Ilda's family migrated to Australia in 1960 from Dubrovnik, Croatia.
