Hello,
My name is Viktor in Melbourne (my late parents migrated here in 1949, I was born here in 1958).
I've just found that Terez PALOTAS (1907 - 1994) was the younger sister of Maria PAJDESZ (1899 - 1972) - family changed name from PAJDESZ / POJDESZ to PALOTAS in 1934, I think.
Their parents were Imre POJDESZ / PALOTAS (1873 - 1950) & Katalin PFEIFER (1876 - 1932) at Veszprem, Veszprem county, Hungary, married there in 1898.
Maria PAJDESZ married my great uncle Mate TANCZOS (1897 - 1973) at Koszeg in 1927, they had two children who both died as infants. Very surprised to find a relation - albeit by marriage - in Australia ! Have information about Maria's family in Veszprem, if interested,
Regards
U.Viktor FISCHER
