Read their story

Engaged in England by the WAGR. Upon arrival in WA he was employed by them at Northam on 5/3/1897 & elsewhere till retirement on 26/07/1930. Boarding at 100 Aberdeen Street, Perth with John Hedges where he met Maud Hedges whom he subsequently married & lived with at Highgate. Their son, Thomas Henry was born on 4/5/1916. In about 1935/1936 George, Maud together with their son Thomas moved to the Northam District where they initially lived at 'Bentley Farm', Malabine. Some time later he opened a Wireless/Radio business & also with his truck undertook contract work in Northam.
