Born Newcastle Upon Tyne 1910. Sailed in Bendigo to Sydney June 1927. Farm work Mullimbah area. Ring barking Tara region, building projects for war effort. Retired at 69, travelled around Australia, then world trip, including Newcastle. "Australia is the lucky country" favourite saying. Passed away 22/12/2006.
