Awarded Scholarship at the age of 12. Went to Perth Modern School then on to Teachers Training College. Became a Primary School Teacher in early 1920's. Married Lionel Criddle August 1934. Became a Store Keeper with own business as had to retire being a teacher when married one daughter Marlon dee Criddle
