John was the youngest of four children travelling with their mother, Mollie to Australia to join their father, Dr Clarence Hardy, who was working in Sydney for the Australian Nuclear Energy Commission as Chief of the Chemical Technology Division. Married Emily Gunson 1986 and had a son, Stewart in 1987.

Molly and my sister Tricia Stayne were best friends at Farringdon County Grammar School for Girls. Your Mum used to come up to Ashbury to visit us at the Rose and Crown Hotel where we had some very happy times. Tricia was one of the bridesmaids at Molly and Clarence's wedding. Molly's sister was the other bridesmaid. I am Tricia's brother Anthony. I have been trying to get in touch with Molly and Clarence for several years, I am so sorry to hear that Clarence passed away last year and I'm sure you must all have found it very sad and difficultto cope with.Tricia and I send you our sincere condolences.
I know Tricia would love to make contact with Molly and I'm hoping you will ask Molly if you can pass on her email address to me to pass on to Tricia.
