Read their story

William acquired small parcel of land, 55 acres, at Toodyay. He lived only 9 years, Ann 15. Both buried at Culham, graves unmarked. Son Benjamin was foreman for Dempster Brothers, Esperance. Son-In-Law William Roser took over farming of Toodyay land.

  • William and Ann's eldest daughter, Elizabeth, came out to South Australia in 1852 with her husband, Henry William Wilson and their baby son. After being in SA they went to live in Victoria where Elizabeth died in childbirth.
