Two years at Northcliffe clearing land. The couple and three children transferred to Group Settlement 148 at Smith Brook near Manjimup where they farmed 165 acres. In 1937 'Mica Hill' was purchased and farmed by sons, Bill and Ken and grandson, Jeff and families. Now owned by great-grandson, Robert.
