Rinaldo Gugiatti, from Poggiridenti, and Isolina Bonadei, from Ardenno, were married on 10 December 1949. They migrated to Perth in 1956 and initially settled in Osborne Park with Lindo Gugiatti (Rinaldo's brother) and his wife Joyce. Rinaldo and Isolina had three children; Nadia, Loretta and Mark.
