Jonah (b 1880), an importer/exporter & Regina Gubbay were Iraqi Jews born in Baghdad. They migrated to Singapore via Macassar in 1933. The threat of the Japanese invasion prompted them to migrate to Perth with their five children namely, Sophie, Jack, Rachel, Sasson (Sonny) & Rita.

Sasson Gubbay saved my life. He gave me hope when none was there. He knew I worked in post-holocaust Cambodia and I didn't really understand why this was important to him, until today. Bless you, Dr Gubbay.

Dr Gubbay you not only saved my life but you did all the groundwork that ultimately lead to my TEMPORAL LOBECTOMY.
I have now been SEIZURE FREE for 26 YEARS !
