Joe Greenland, born Finchley & sent to Swansea, Wales in the care of the Sisters of Nazareth. Sent out on the Strathnaver March 1939 to Western Australia - Castledare and 1942 sent onto Tardun, Western Australia - Christian Brothers. Left 1947 for Geraldton, taking an apprenticeship in the bakery.
