Mary & daughter Edith left Birmingham in 1895, travelling on the 'Oruba' to Albany, where they joined Ernest. Four more children were born to the couple who remained living in the town while the children went to school. They retired to King River when Ernest retired from the railways. Mary passed away in 1946.
