Thomas and family moved to WA in 1897 and settled in Fremantle. Their firstborn, Clyde, married Myrtle Lewis. Thomas and Hazel Ada (nee McDonald) had 13 children, many of whom still reside in Fremantle today. Descendant from the Grant Clan, Morayshire Scotland. Thomas was the 15th child of James and Janet Grant.
