Read their story

Giuseppe was originally sponsored by his uncle Angelo Grandile. He arrived in 1957. He worked in Kalgoorlie laying railway sleeper. His family in Italy had arranged a bride for him. He returned to Italy to marry Maria on the 13th May 1962. On 2nd July 1962 they departed Italy for Fremantle.
