Two children accompanied them Elizabeth (5) and Janet (3½). Lived in Fremantle. Had 3 more children; Mary, James, & Vera. William had various jobs in Fremantle and a business in Bannister St., Bag & Bale Merchant. He enlisted AIF 7th Reinforcement 48th Batt. Wounded twice. Died as result of being struck by taxi in Fremantle, 1940.
