Bill Goodson was a builder in Dulwich, London and decided to migrate to WA to start a poultry farm. He travelled with John McCarthy and they jointly built a house on 10 acres of land in Yale Road, Canning Vale in 5 months in readiness for his wife the sister of John to follow.
