Michele, one of the earliest arrivals from Acquaviva Collecrose, worked as a labourer and lived in Bentley. His daughters Antonietta and Teresina arrived in 1939 and his wife Maria Mattiacio arrived in 1949. Maria worked in Royal Perth Hospital laundry and was noted for her crochet work.
