Read their story

Lina Giuppa was born on 29 August 1937. The second youngest of 12 children. She left Sicily at the age of 18, and married a month after arriving in Australia to Giovanni Prestipino, whom she had grown up with in Sicily and was engaged to for 2 years. They had 3 children - Joe (1958), Rosetta (1960) and Maria (1969).
